I was out last night capturing star trails over the peak district near to where I live – there was a new moon so not too much light pollution – good for star trail photography! This shot consisted of over two hundred separate 30 second exposures stacked on top of each other to get the trails – it was a long old evening as it took over 2 hours to get the shots needed. This is part of a bigger project I am embarking on – but this shot is a lovely bi-product of the start of a long but hopefully endearing photographic journey!
